Classic White Wedding Flowers for a Yorkshire Bride
27 Aug 2014
Elegant white flowers were the perfect choice for Victoria and Mark’s romantically themed wedding, which was held at the picturesque St James Church in Braithwell followed by a private marquee reception.
Large headed white hydrangea and ivory roses were a stunning choice for a clean and classic white theme.
The flowers were arranged naturally and organically for a relaxed, country garden feel.
A selection of ivory large headed roses were hand-tied to create a sophisticated round bouquet for the bride.
The seven bridesmaids each carried a posy of seven large headed ivory roses bound with an ivory sateen ribbon handle. This is a great option and a good way of keeping costs under control when there are a lot of bridesmaids.
The flower girl wore a simple hair circlet created using ivory spray rose buds and delphinium pips on silver wire frame.
Our pedestal designs featured tall white delphiniums and were moved back from the church to decorate the area on either side of the top table inside the marquee after the ceremony.
Very simple white roses and hydrangea were placed in clear glass cylinders around the base of crystal-draped candelabras, which were supplied by the bride. Floating candles on clear water in small clear glass votives completed the effect.
AV Matrix were responsible for the event lighting and the marquee was supplied and dressed by Jacquie Andrassy. Many thanks to our bride for sharing these lovely photographs.
