Roses in subtle shades of cream and dusky pink were used to create a 1920s vintage theme for Jo and Michael’s wedding at Goldsborough Hall.
The understated elegance of simple roses in subtle shades suited the country house setting perfectly.
The bride carried a posy of seven Amnesia roses, bound together with a cream lace handle held in place with a line of pearl headed pins.
Small brown feathers amongst the flowers added depth to the colour scheme.
The bridesmaids carried a single Amnesia rose decorated with small brown feathers and a cream lace bow.
A classic long and low arrangement of roses in dusky pink and cream decorated the registar’s table at Goldsborough Hall and this was later moved to the mantelpiece for the wedding breakfast.
Decanters containing three Amnesia roses made excellent vintage style centrepieces for the guests’ tables at the reception, each surrounded by fresh rose petals.
The muted colours, the simplicity of the roses and the historic setting of Goldsborough Hall all combined to successfully recreate an era of effortless sophistication.
