Contemporary Flowers in Deep Purple, Swinton Park

Calla lilies, modern grasses and a striking dark purple colourway created a highly contemporary floral theme for Kate and Neil’s wedding at Swinton Park.

The bride’s bouquet was an elegant hand-tied design using dark purple calla lilies combined with a small amount of dark green glossy foliage.

The adult bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets of tulips and calla lilies in white and ivory with touches of dark purple.

The flower girl carried a miniature version of the bridesmaid posies finished with a neat trailing bow.

A classic cream rose was used for the ladies’ corsages.

The groom’s buttonhole was a striking purple calla lily with glossy green leaves.

Ivory calla lilies were used for the other male buttonholes.

The wedding ceremony took place in the library where we lined the aisle with hurricane vases containing a large church candle nestled into a bed of moss and wrapped in dark purple ribbon.

The registrar’s table was dressed with romantic twinkling nightlights and  striking goldfish bowl floral decorations featuring swirls of long grasses and  dark purple calla lilies.

The reception was held in Samuel’s restaurant at Swinton Park.
