Contemporary Wedding with Ivory and Fresh Lime Green

29 Jul 2013

For Mandy and Andrew’s stylish spring wedding at Swinton Park we took a classic combination of ivory and green and gave it a very contemporary twist.

Elegant cymbidium and dendrobium orchids and calla lilies in shades of ivory were teamed with variegated lily grass which together looked stunning when set against fresh lime green with dark green foliage.

The soft ivory blooms and the contrasting shades of green worked beautifully with the bridesmaids’ pewter dresses and the men’s navy suits.

Mandy carried a striking ‘over the arm’ bouquet design.

The men’s eye-catchingly different lime green cymbidium orchid buttonholes complemented the theme.

We created a simple yet very stylish arrangement for the registrar’s table during the ceremony and this became the centrepiece for the top table for the remainder of the wedding day.

The sophisticated floral style achieved for Mandy and Andrew’s wedding at Swinton Park demonstrates how less can be more and how innovative design and flower choice can give a very classic colour combination a fresh modern twist.
