English country roses in muted shades of white, ivory and dusky pink set the theme for Clare and Ed’s classically inspired wedding in rural North Yorkshire.

The ceremony took place in the pretty village church at Little Ouseburn before the bridal party continued their celebrations in one of Yorkshire’s most striking stately homes, Allerton Castle.

The bridal bouquet was a tumbling shower of roses, beautifully arranged with pale blue scabious, white larkspur and co-ordinating seasonal flowers.

Fragrant rosemary, silvery grey eucalyptus and trails of ivy helped to create a country garden feel to the arrangement, which was loosely gathered for a natural effect.

The bridesmaids carried hand-tied round bouquets of white and ivory roses combined with a mix of flowers and foliage carefully chosen to reflect the colours and style of the bridal bouquet.

A beautiful garland of seasonal foliage, ivy trails, delicate flower heads and fairy lights adorned the fabulous main staircase at Allerton Castle.

Vintage vases and bottles were used to create individual table centerpieces for the wedding breakfast, each filled with a lovely selection of loosely arranged flowers and foliage and placed on a clear glass base surrounded by twinkling nightlights.

The reception was masterminded by Dine’s excellent events team who are always a pleasure to work with. The bride’s make up was done by Claire Hartley and the lovely photos seen here were captured by Georgina Harrison.
