Natural Vintage Wedding at Yorebridge House
5 Nov 2015
Yorebridge House is a fabulous boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
We loved working on the flowers for Jessica and Andy’s wedding here to create the natural look they wanted with an elegant vintage twist.
We used a very pretty colour palette of ivory, cream, dusky pink and green, punctuated by sky blue and lilac to add contrast.
The room used for the ceremony and reception is light and airy, overlooking the terrace and gardens, and the style of our floral arrangements reflected the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.
We created loose, country garden style designs with plenty of movement to bring a little of the outside in.
We used roses, dahlias, delphinium, hydrangea, scabious and nigella combined with lots of textured silvery-grey foliage including senecio and eucalyptus.
Feature pedestal displays were created to frame the French doors leading out to the terrace and these were complemented by low designs in stylish silver bowls.
The tree lined pathway created a lovely wedding aisle leading towards the hotel, enhanced by the addition of loose mixed posies hung from wrought iron shepherd’s hooks.
