Pink Wedding Flowers: Ideas and Inspiration

20 May 2015

Pink is always a popular palette choice with brides for their wedding flowers.

The romance and versatility of the colour means it can be adapted to suit any theme, from classic vintage to creative contemporary.

Dusky Pink

For this vintage wedding at Goldsborough Hall we used Amnesia roses, bound together with cream lace and interspersed with feathers to create echoes of an elegant bygone era.

The bridesmaids carried a single Amnesia rose decorated with small brown feathers and a cream lace bow.

Pinks and neutrals

For this summer wedding at Rudding Park we used a glamorous mix of multi-petalled David Austen roses and hydrangea in neutral tones.

Touches of silvery grey and soft lime green foliage in the floral arrangements at the reception enhanced the sophisticated palette of ivory, white, soft taupe and dusky pink.

Pretty shades of soft pink

We used a gorgeous mix of large headed roses, lisianthus and ranunculus in soft shades of pink for this softly rounded bouquet design.

Pretty clusters of silver diamante and clear Swarovski crystals added extra romance and  sparkle.

A very similar colour palette was used for this wedding at Ripley Castle. David Austen roses created  luxurious effect for a soft, feminine floral style.

Country garden pink

We gave this pretty pink palette a contemporary feel by adding a touch of bright fuchsia to the mix.

Trailing jasmine, ivy and soft fern created a natural country garden style.

The bridesmaids carried small hand-tied bouquets which complemented the bridal design.

The reception was held at Middleton Lodge and we continued the theme here, dressing the marquee with fabulously romantic country garden style arrangements, hurricane vases, candles and night lights.

Bold brights

Stargazer lilies and calla lilies were used to add classic elegance to this contemporary colour scheme.

Rich shades of pink were set against deep green and variegated foliage.

The ceremony took place in the Library at Swinton Park where we decorated the aisle with  silk rose petals and hurricane vases

This gorgeous pink floral heart looked beautiful in the window which overlooks Swinton Park’s stunning grounds. These weddings all use pink in very different ways and are only a small sample of the many variations we have created with this colour palette.
