Spring Wedding at Goldsborough Hall

27 Mar 2014

Goldsborough Hall was the perfect setting for our first spring wedding of the year.

The daffodils were in full bloom in the village as we arrived to dress the venue in preparation for Helen and Ian’s celebrations.

The couple married at Goldsborough Church and held their reception in the stunning period setting of Goldsborough Hall.

A colour palette of white, ivory and cream was combined with springtime shades of blue and touches of lime green for a classic seasonal theme.

A soft mix of foliage was used to give a very natural wild flower effect.

Scented hyacinths, anemones, ranunculus and grape hyacinth looked pretty against the delicate paperwhite daffodils.

Thistles, lisianthus and September flower daisies added depth to the arrangements and we included lime green vibernum pom-poms, silvery grey eucalyptus and variegated pittosporum for a contemporary twist.

The bride carried a beautiful hand-tied bouquet in mixed blues, white and cream, arranged for a loose ‘hand-picked’ effect and her bridesmaids carried smaller posies in the same style.

Metre tall candelabras and large hurricane vases, each surrounded by a ring of flowers, made striking table centres for the wedding breakfast.
